Our Team

We are a team of individuals who are passionate about sports medicine and seeing our clients decrease their pain and increase their performance to their best capacity. We are experienced practitioners who are also athletic and have an understanding of the needs of athletes. We bring diverse specialties, backgrounds, and experiences to the table to create a well-rounded practical bridge between your fitness goals and your physical capabilities. Our team is here to help you succeed.

Dr. Mehta attended The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital - the University hospitals for Cornell and Columbia University in New York City. He subsequently completed a Sports Medicine and Interventional Pain fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery, ranked #1 in Orthopaedics Nationwide.

Dr. Mehta specializes in the non-operative treatment of sports related injuries as well as chronic pain conditions. He has specialized training in Interventional Pain Medicine and employs novel techniques including nerve blocks for chronic pain conditions, ultrasound guided musculoskeletal injections and regenerative medicine techniques including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).

Dr. Mehta served as the team physician for multiple Division 1 Athletics including Columbia University, St. Peters College and St. Johns University. He has also served as volunteer physician coverage for the New York Marathon. He now plans to participate as one of the team physicians for the Dayton Dutch Lions soccer team.

Dr. Mehta's approach has always been and will continue to be on patient education and returning patients to full mobility so that they can get back to their lives, children and jobs, whether it be shuttling around kids to soccer practice or returning to their professional athletic team in time for the championships.

Eric Jaynes has been a physical therapist for the past 8 years. He graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in 2006 before obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine in 2009. Eric is a certified manual therapist obtaining certification through the University of St. Augustine in 2010. He utilizes a hands on approach and individualized exercise plans to achieve optimal results. He has been with Drayer Physical Therapy since 2010 and is currently the Center Manager of the Dayton-Woodman location that opened in 2015. Eric spends his free time exercising, hanging out with his family, and rooting for his favorite teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Reds and Bengals. He has a wife, twin boys, and a dog that he enjoys taking for walks.

Coach Ryan Faehnle is a highly regarded industry leader as a former NCAA Division I Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning who was responsible for the fitness and physical performance of hundreds of athletes competing at the highest levels in the collegiate ranks.

Throughout his diverse career, Coach Ryan has coached, mentored, and consulted athletes in 21 different sports at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, with athlete successes ranging from NCAA All-American to NFL Super Bowl Champion.

In addition to training athletes for sports performance, Coach Ryan has consulted with top-level physique competitors who have sought him out for fat loss and muscle building advice.

Known as a coach that doesn’t compromise on results, Coach Ryan has traveled the globe in search of the best training, nutrition, motivation, and recovery modalities that lead to success. His abilities were acknowledged at a high level when famed international Olympic strength coach Charles Poliquin welcomed Ryan to his staff, where Ryan lectured internationally on fat loss, training athletes, hypertrophy, nutrition, energy systems, and supplementation.

Unlike many “keyboard warriors,” Coach Ryan’s reputation lies solely in his ability to achieve results with his athletes and clients. On top of his “in the trenches” experience training himself and others, as well as his years of research and study, Coach Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, and multiple industry standard certifications.

Ryan currently owns a private consulting business where he has authored a comprehensive fat loss e-book and has consulted with and coached both athletes and coaches in the professional ranks and the Olympic games.

Marissa Kramer is a 2016 graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors degree in Dietetics. She is currently is in the process of obtaining her Personal Trainer certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Marissa works mainly with elementary and high school athletes to help start educating and introducing to the youth proper forms and movements of working out as well as nutrition. She hopes that this knowledge can be used as a preventative for future injuries or illnesses.

Sports, especially soccer, and exercising have always been a huge part of her life ever since a young age. She’s a Crossfit enthusiast and food fanatic, so she’s a big proponent of the philosophy that “Eating right and working out is more than just a fad, it’s a lifestyle.”

Rob Kramer is a three-year tenured certified Crossfit coach. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Personal Trainer certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and pursing a degree in Exercise Science. Rob has personally trained athletes of all ages and currently coaches at Crossfit Skyfall. He is a successful Crossfit competitor in the Dayton and surrounding areas with hopes of competing on a regional level.

Growing up a three sport athlete and collegiate football player, he enjoys seeing people recognize and reach the full potential they have inside themselves. Most importantly, Rob strives to promote safety and wellness to all of his clients. He is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoys spending his free time with his 2 beautiful daughters and wife.
